Part 2 The Second half of my walk, and entry in to the festival. I evidently zoomed way in by mistake in part of this, and shortly before I got to "the gate" I must have been swinging my arms a bit as I walked, so first you'll get sea sick, then you'll have an epileptic seizure, enjoy. Sorry, the rest of these are better.
Background:
Prior to Arts Beats And Eats 2010, the festival manager jon witz had an anti-gun contract amendment added in to the agreement with the city (Royal Oak MI) to ban the carrying, and possession of ALL firearms within the "festival zone" even though the "festival grounds" included public streets, and sidewalks, and private homes, and businesses. All who happened to live, or work in the festival zone, and all who attended would have been stripped of there fundamental constitutional civil right to own, posses, and carry a gun. This contract position violated both the US, and Michigan constitutions, and Michigan's Firearms Preemption law which prohibits any local unit government to enact stricter "gun control" than the state. A dedicated group of patriots protested, and got the illegal contract provision removed. However jon witz preceded to threaten Royal Oak that he wanted the entire "festival grounds to be declared an "open carry alcohol zone" despite Royal Oaks own city ordinance banning just that, and if they didn't give him what he wanted he would take the festival to another city, so Royal Oak gave him what he wanted, the MLCC (Michigan Liqueur Control Commission) then simply rubber stamped Royal Oaks approval, but deliberately waited, and passed it at the last possible minute so it couldn't be protested, this despite the liqueur license violating at least 2 state laws (no Alcohol consumed on public streets, and no minors admitted), and they admitted that they neither reviewed, or even read the relevant laws, and simply rubber stamped it, it was also done in a closed door meeting which also violates Michigan law. The result was that anyone without a CPL (AKA CCW) was completely stripped of there firearms rights if they merely happened to live, or work in the "festival zone", or wanted to visit. As a show of solidarity to those affected, and as a big personal screw you to jon witz, Oakland County Commissioner L brooks patterson, and there ilk, I open carried a Glock 22, along with 4 spare magazines (92 extra rounds total) through the festival.

the officer in Florida V. JL, the fact that JL didn't print is irrelevant in that in the context that we are discussing carrying is not necessarily illegal thus seeing printing is no more a reason to stop someone than an anonymous tip. You are correct in that a CPL holder who is carrying concealed must present their license however, but in this case there would be no reason to stop them to begin with.

I'm impressed you read it. You are still incorrect though that a bulge justifies a stop, I go back to the analogy of driving you have no more reason to suspect that a person carrying is doing so without a license for the mere fact that they are carrying, than you do to suspect that a person driving is doing so without a license for the mere fact that they are driving, therefor a stop would be unlawful as you would have no more reason to believe that a crime has been committed than

@921945 ok so i read your case law which states that the officers did not see anything that would say the kid had a gun i said if i see that there is a bulge on a persons hip that i know is a firearm i can and have and will always investigate because i have reasonable suspicion that it is being carried illegally if i walk up to investigate and he does not say he has a ccw permit which he is required by law to do so i have a case your Florida v jl has nothing to do with this they had no suspicion

@muraders
No that is not probable cause, or "reasonable suspicion" as carrying is not necessarily illegal, using your logic it would be acceptable to randomly pull someone over just for driving as they MIGHT not have a license, stopping someone for carrying because they MIGHT not have a license is just as wrong, asinine, and unconstitutional, I suggest you read the 4th Amendment of the US Constitution, and Florida V. JL.

@921945 well smarty pants i don't need probable cause for a stop i only need reasonable suspicion for the stop probable cause is for an arrest so once again printing as you call it is reasonable suspicion enough to investigate so there is nothing said there that is dumb so again you sir have little to no clue

@muraders
I am not a mind reader, and you gave no indication of what you were, you didn't give any indication you were anything but someone without a clue. You did indeed post stupid things like for example believing that mere printing is probable cause for a stop, or the fact that you were carrying, but had no intention of actually using it if you had to.

@921945 you should have been able to figure out i am a police officer since law enforcement are the only persons who carry with out a permit i never posted any dumbassed shit sir only truth now sir you still have a lot to learn and if it is trure that you teach a ccw class please try as hard as possible to teach ccw carriers to learn because most not all are really dumb and don't do it right it's not hard to follow the laws please teach them right

@muraders
No all you did was leave out a key fact, that you were a cop. That also does not excuse the other completely dumbassed shit you posted.

@921945 ok here is the law that allows a person to carry nationwide with out a ccw permit since it is obvious that you are not capable of doing research on your own HR 218 is a federal law that allows me and many others to carry with out a permit and any where i want to carry unlike your very limited permit now that i gave you the law that allows me to carry with out a permit it took you a long time with out figuring out a way a person carries with out permit i have proved u r the dumb fuck

@muraders
to believe that the pistol is being carried illegally. Since common sense seems to fail you I suggest you review the most recent MSP Legal advisory, number 86, as well as ACTUAL case law as in Florida V. JL as opposed to the made up shit your doubtlessly spewing.
