This is not CS&N, but is rather from Stephen's first solo album. Byzanthium was the region where the Eastern Romans lived in olden days. It also alludes to Yeat's poem "Sailing To Byzanthium". Since Stephen loves classic poetry AND reading history this could well be where the subliminal idea came from. As for the rest of the reverse speech, well..Stephen was raised a good Baptist boy, and he's STILL one at heart, bless him! :)

In the book 'The Mothman Prophesies,' "beeazelbub" was some type of manifestation or spirit of evil. However, it could be calling out for this entity to kill. Anyway, having been around this for years, when I hear the "hail satan" theme, it's not a good sign. I have my own methods of determining whether or not something is merely coincidence or not, and this reverse is real. Very disturbing.
