If I remember correctly, Horus ripped of the Emperors arm at the end of the Horus Heresy.

yeah for those fools who dont know what the emperor looks like on golden throne, turn to the first page in the 40k rule books...oh look its the dead emperor (the corpes god for some who say)

guys just chill its a corrupt planatry govoner played the game my self its quite clear, but props for pll who thorght it might be the "his royal highnes" the animation desingn is a deffo referance to that image.

oh another funny thing is that when you said it looks like the golden throne of the emporor if the full image was shown and the camera was just up a bit you would see a massive chaos star on it

dude i have the game ive played this level and its a chaos genral you have to kill its one of the cutscenes although i admit it looks not much like one but i have proof

I'd have to disagree with you on this one, buddy. The emperor is in a much worse state than that. He cant even sit up, much less move anything. If he were this well, he'd be able to openly command troops and still be in charge of everything in the Imperium instead of letting people translate what they believe He wants them to do. it just doesnt make sense, he's probably some librarian, commander, or chaplain in the chapter.

I completely agree with the Kraut on this one! Don't EVER say such things of Him. And that is not the emperor. The emperor almost dead, only kept alive by constantly feeding on souls. He is incased in the Golden throne...though it does look a little like Calgar...IF HE WERE 10 TIMES BIGGER!!!
