  • gpa + sats?

  • My personal ones?

    4.3 weighed, 3.8 unweighted

    2000 on the SATs

Don't worry so much about the scores when applying to Chapman. It's your essays (especially this one) that matters.

  • How did u get your video to be less than 50 mb. isnt that what the video size has to be?

  • I don't remember the size requirement.... but that sounds right. Compress the video or use a filetype that doesn't create large video files yet still retains a decent quality (WMV is fairly ideal).

  • This was pretty dang cool. Hope I get in (though I don't have to be worrying about that for another four years xD)

  • hey Danny nice room! Love your genres of things.Keep Posting your awesome videos!!!!!!

  • you shouldn't worry at all about the technical stuff

for the essay, all chapman cares about is the storytelling aspect of it.... in the instructions it says you can submit an unedited continuous shot if wanted

  • And to think I was stressed out on all the technical stuff..I have most of that!

    Thanks!!

  • simplicity was the key here

i filmed and took stills using a simple Panasonic MiniDV camera

The pictures were blended together using Virtualdub

And the final editing was done on Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Hey great video! Congrats on getting in! I'm planning on applying to Chapman in the fall and I was just wondering what kind of camera you used to film it. I have a pretty crappy one and wanted to try to find a better one. Also what editing program did you use? I'm fretting that Imovie will mess up on me like it usually does.

    Please and thanks! :)
