One of my tank with Iwagumi style scape (1.5ft tank) during photoperiod.

Plants: Japanese Hairgrass, Hemianthus Cuba (HC)
Fauna: Neon Tetras, Mini Puffer, Siamese Algae Eater, Ottocinculus
Lights: 72W PLL (4hrs +(2hrs break) + 4hrs)
Co2: Pressurized - 24hrs (3bps)

It's a newbie attempt in Iwagumi tho...so don't expect an IAPLC version of scape okay... I'm still new to the hobby. ^_^ peace out...

p/s: mind the camera reflection, I'm not a professional photographer either.

  • Why do you run Co2 24hrs?? Plants can't use it when lights are off.

  • @aligpiro

simply because i do not own a solenoid regulator.

  • do u use any aquarium fertilizer?any recommendation?

  • @BigBoyLies

yes i did for this tank. Saechem Potassium + ADA Step 1 + Saechem Excel.

recoomendation? go for ADA if you have no issue with budget.

brother, one of the positive thing in having aquascaped tank is you dont need to worry about vaccuming ur gravel or whatsoever. dont worry and dont bother about the fish poops. heh.. :D just leave it. it will act as a 'natural' fertilizer to the tank :D

(as long you do not overstock your fishes in a cramped tank).

  • Waw nice tank....

    What light use?
