On 5 November 2007, the Minister for Water Resources announced the State Government's decision to use Logue Brook Dam to meet the State's public water supply needs. This will require the dam to be converted from an irrigation and recreation facility to an irrigation and drinking water source???
Alas, Logue Brook Dam and its surrounds have been enjoyed for the last 45 years by over 30 000 people each year for water skiing, fishing, swimming, bushwalking, canoeing and general recreation.
What can we do to raise Public awareness of this vital loss to our wider community?
