Dragon Boat Festival 2011 - Dragon Boat Races - Connecticut River - Asian Entertainment

Competitive dragon boat races always make for a fun event, very colorful and entertaining. The weather was perfect on that day, August 20, 2011; not too hot, not too cold, but just perfect! Thousands of people came to watch the boat races. For some spectators - it was a picnic day in a beautiful park by the Connecticut River. Many came to compete in a race. Others came to cheer on their friends who participated in the race. Everyone enjoyed it!
Location: Mortensen Riverfront Plaza, Hartford, Connecticut.
