have you looked at an ar10, same caliber quicker reloading and more parts

ya those "gut" shots will do alot of damage get hit in the gut by a 7.62 you are not getting back up and shooting back

Thats why you reload brass and get the cost down to 25 cents per shot vs over a dollar per shot.

the M-14 is awesome but yeah its kinda heavy but if i would pick i'd rather choose a AR-10 it looks like a AR-15 but its .308

anyone know if you can use a non-1911 style firearm for the pistol in the multigun heavy metal division?

@Chriznak Yes, you can use any type of pistol as long as it is .45 ACP for USPSA Heavy Metal division.
