  • Aghh, the emphasis on the silent H..

  • ...... Placebo is a crazy thing.

  • @8698gil And, as I said, it works when you believe. Maybe you didn´t believe enough. And you didn´t just talk about why people believe in prayer, you sad that prayer is a ridiculous waste of time and you talked about your childhood. Seriously, why try to insult Christians? Don´t tell me you didn´t, ´cause what happened to "BULLSHIT" or "And I´ve never wasted another precious moment of my life with something so ridiculous as prayer." You´re an idiot.

  • @MultiWillPill Why would I even want to? I'm only pointing out the reason people believe in prayer. They believe when it works for them.

  • @8698gil Think as you want. You can´t turn me into an Atheist anyway.

  • @MultiWillPill "you need to believe for prayer to work?" Bullshit!!! I was raised in a christian home and when I was 8 I needed help very badly. I prayed every night over and over and never got any answer. I became an atheist when I was 10, and I've never wasted another precious moment of my life with something so ridiculous as prayer.

  • It's been my experience that people who believe in prayer are those who have led privileged lives since childhood. Their belief in prayer has always been reinforced by never having a prayer unanswered. They want something, they get it (because they can afford it), and then they thank god for their good fortune. I think people who have repeatedly prayed for something that was actually important and have never received an answer might think differently.

  • 412 people cant handle the truth

  • the 'wait' clause is invalid. you can't take a raincheck on a prayer - it's just a method of avoiding the disappointment chrisitans feel when their 'prayers' go unanswered merely because they asked and didn't follow up

  • @sro64sro

or perhaps it is just a placation to put your stock in something that can't exist outside the idea that you merely WANT it that way so you can continue having that phoned-in smile on your face while you wait
