The premise of Lee Dorren's argument is wrong. The Billions of dollars that have been given to Africa have actually resulted in wide-spread corruption in African governments. Most of the aid money has ended up in the hands of bureaucrats who are unaccountable to the people. The nation of Zaire was said to be so corrupt that there was almost no chance of creditors getting their money back if they offered any loans.
