  • Dan, that was something else. Lots going on there. Beautiful!! What strings are you using? Flatwounds?

  • @bmaniac1 thanks a lot. Yep, D'darrio flatwounds. I'm thinking about checking out the Tomastiks though. Any suggestions?

  • Great fingers and nice chops but, you sacrifice staying in the groove for speed. Many times the composition is noisy and leaves the listener searching for the musical line.

  • Wicked ass playing...Must check out more...

  • Epitome of soul my brother.

  • THOMASTIKS A LITTLE PRICEY. ALSO LAST LONG. C.H.O.P.S

  • FUCKING NUTS good reinterpritation

  • @brothaman34 I like the sound of that box. Lives up to the claim of sounding like solid wood. I use D'darrio also. Mainly because they are more available. I do remember reading that the Tomastiks string tension is less then the D'darrio's. I have wondered if this would allow me to go a gauge heavier, but still keep the same feel as the lighter gauge. I guess there only one way to find out..lol!

  • Awesome playing (as usual!). Congrats on the new guitar!

  • Thanks for this, Dan. Love it.
