  • That is an awesome car. The engine and gearbox sound fantastic. You have got her really well set up, what sort of Air to fuel meter is that?

  • @rob2thebob

Thanks!....the meter is an Innovate LM1. Works great and has data logging too. Very helpful with the carb tuning. Keep posted for Fuel Injection sooooon!

  • @rob2thebob

Thanks! It is an innovate LM1...works great and has data logging as well.

  • how much power are you pushing in this video?

  • Hey Jeffrey,

Not sure what the dyno numbers are on this setup. Need to get the car there soon to check with the 7 port too. Single weber on the Calver head was definitely stronger on the bottom, but 7 port flows great after 3k!

  • Hi!

I saw this car for sale 2 years ago but it was to far from Montreal Canada . I have a 1964 MG1100

but it is not even close in performance to your Austin America .

Nice job .Hope you do some serious track with it :-)

  • that is a sexy set up man. i'm too poor to do anything yet so i'm still running my 1100 with her CR box and lookin at a stage one kit in my mini, but oneee day i'd love to do a 7 port conversion! can't beat the sound of an A series motor! nice work, can't be many of those around in the states!

  • Take a deep breaths, i like this car :)

  • @edaniels98 7 ports ? So one of them is siamesed ?

  • hey, this car needs to be back in its Birth Country ;)

Seriously, looks fantastic. Cant beat the sound of an A series engine coupled to a straight cut gearbox!

    Greetings from England ;)

  • My mother's 1st car was an Austin. I loved it. Scary going up the hills in S.F. though. Thanx for posting, but you'll kick yourself to death if you ever outgrow it, & sell it. Classic English car.

  • could do with the engine etc in my mini ha
