Throughout the centuries there have always been the true Christians who refuse to retaliate, bear the sword or swear allegiance to anyone but Christ. Called by many names over the years including Waldenses, Anabaptists , Hutterites or Mennonites, these Christians were hunted and killed at the hands of the professing state church, including by Roman Catholics, Lutherans, and Calvinists. Often times these persecutions were by direct command of the Protestant "Reformers" themselves. These true persecuted Christians returned love for hate, blessing for cursing and went on to their eternal rewards.

  • All I can say after seeing these terrifying pictures, these martyrs are worthy and have a place in the kingdom of Christ. We must all get ready and endure for the LORD's sake. Father help us in Jesus's name

Amen brother... its a frightening reality... some of the things done to these people are unimaginable to me. Only Satan and his demons could have devised such pure evil against them.

We need to stand firm in our day for sure and be willing to suffer with Jesus if necessary.

  • Not any of the Anabaptists from Martyr's Mirror. Those all held to the Trinity. The Calvinists are lying and trying to throw Anabaptism in with extreme groups that were condemned by Menno Simons and other early Anabaptist leaders. Menno wrote a tract on the confession of the Triune God.

Excellent my brother in Christ. Keep exposing these unfruitful works of darkness. I simply asked because I think I know of a Memonite who seemingly believes in Oneness. He sent me some powerpoints saying the Father is the will, The Son is the Body and the Spirit is the Spirit and something along those lines I think. I am awfully surprised if he believes that.

There are a lot of people under the label "Mennonite" today who have little in common with the original Anabaptists. I know a few people on FaceBook who claim to be Mennonites but are really unitarian or arian.

For the Calvinists to use someone like that to attack Anabaptists is ridiculous because there are hundreds of liberal "reformed" churches that do not believe the Trinity or salvation by Christ alone.
