Trying a personal thumb-picking version of this fine 1924 song (Gus Kahn & Isham Jones)(later interpreted by Frank Sinatra and many more etc.).
With my apologies!
I play it twice: the first is more subdued, the second is brutal.

Your melody line is soft (tone) while the bass is firm and precise. Your chords support the tune without overpowering it. Just a great unique style of interpretation on a challenging number. One of your very best (if you don't mind me saying so..?)

Of course, Billy, I don't mind at all! On the contary, it's very valuable for me to know your (very informed) opinion on the relative (de)merits of this or that song. I was afraid I had made a very crude and basic interpretation here, and your comment is a happy contradiction. It would be great, too, if you sang this beautiful theme.
