Nights (Feel Like Getting Down) - Billy Ocean (1981)

Billy Ocean (born Leslie Sebastian Charles, 21 January 1950, Fyzabad, Trinidad) is a Grammy Award-winning British-based popular music performer who had a string of rhythm and blues-tinged international pop hits in the 1970s and 1980s. He was the main British-based R&B singer/songwriter of the 1980s. One of his early classics was "Nights (Feel Like Getting Down)", released in 1981 as a single from his Epic album of the same name. The song peaked at #7 on the U.S. R&B chart and went to #4 on the U.S. Dance/Club chart, as well. This channel is dedicated to all the great 'old school' R&B music I grew up with, the stuff that originally made me tap my feet and want to be a DJ. Funk, soul, disco, R&B, dance, hip-hop, pop . . . 60s, 70s, 80s . . . whatever you call it, it's all 'Old School' and it's all here!
