  • This made no fucking sense.

  • The point of this movie: white water squares get more chicks than human men.

  • The message gives a pretty disturbing look at how often behavior is motivated only by sexual desires even if in a very indirect way. I think the last scene of the young girl sunbathing, mirroring the women in the first scene, gives a interesting statement about the simple joys of life that are not about any sexual desires, but about enjoying the world.

  • I think most commentary on the meaning of this short film miss a running theme in the social interactions between the people. Except for the young boys, all dialogue and much action was centered on implicit sexual desires. The boys asking the cute girl out, the chubbier girl feeling uncomfortable and swimming off, the couple kissing, the young girls discussing clothing to attract boys and their envy and dislike of another girl, and the old man starring openly at the young girls' bodies.

  • Like this if you think the ad was the funniest part

  • I love this. It felt uncomfortable and close, personal and realistic.

  • @timidmarco Wow, this made a lot of sense. Thanks! Although how would this interpretation fit in with that girl kissing the guy on the white square? Maybe it was meant to signify pure, innocent love. Guess I gotta buy myself some NyQuil too.

  • 5:03 armpit hair? O_O

  • @boyboricua what was up with the drowing? and the old man wathcing the couple make out?

  • I think the point is just to show how the square is like a gathering spot for the swimmers. It can be relaxing for a mother and her children, or a gossip area for teen girls, or a place for guys to hit on chicks. I think its just to show how a white square can be a gathering spot for anyone who a swimming. A place to socialize or to be alone.

  • this film shows how so much be it good or bad can revolve around one spot. To think nothing would have happened if that square was not there, please thumbs up so people can understand this film.

  • this sucks
