My first memory of what I now know as - lip-synching. It also figured in SINGING IN THE RAIN.

This is one of my 2 favorites of the Three Stooges. Because it was the first time I heard the song "Voices of Spring" ,the two remain forever linked in my mind. Just like the "Liberty Bell March" is ever linked to Monty Python -before they went pukarama !

I've seen this episode over twenty times, and I still freaking lose it!!..just hilarious!!.love the stooges!!

This was one of one of Curleys last appearances with the other two stooges and was during the time he was having a series of short strokes. For Stoogaphiles, you can tell he's just not feeling well. Moe said in an interview in the 70's, that curley, who moe considered a genius, was was just not up to par at that time. Still one of the funniest shorts ever made!

The song the Italian Singer (Gino Corrado) is trying to sing is the refrain from "Vienni sul mar", a traditional Italian song that was popular with tenors (Corrado was a baritone) in the early 20th century.
The song the Stooges are singing is an excerpt from the Sextet from the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor"
