Nathan,Peyton and Lucas are a love triangle, Nathan marries Peyton but later she discovers that he has betrayed her with Brooke, she walks up to Lucas who stay together until the end.
Peyton has a son Jaime.Nathan and lucas never knew who the real father of James, always cared for him as a child, after Peyton's death Nathan lives in a dark moment, having lost it to Lucas for having betrayed her with Brooke, and not to live the last months of her life, Lucas blames himself for ever having said that I loved her and not having had more time with her, they both blame the past.
Years later they are married to Haley and Brooke, but they live in the shadow of Peyton turning their marriage in hell, Nathan and Lucas realize Peyton is gone and they have incredible and women who love their son Jaime.
They go after them and reconcile.
