  • I was lucky to see them the next month in Syracuse with The Dead, it still stands as one of my best nights of live music.

    Rest in peace Rick.

  • @Sunflower0122Z I was at that same show at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse! Too funny!

  • @Wharfomatic how does a guy go about getting a copy of that? sounds epic, would love to hear.

  • This man was an entertainer...god bless rick

  • @DonVerduci I'm positive. Somedays you never forget

  • @Wharfomatic Really? Wow, I was just going by the Discography and notes made in Greil Marcus' book "Mystery Train". He mentions May 4th, but if your sure then I appreciate your response.

  • @DonVerduci March 4th 1986, I was with him on Sunday the 2nd. The show in Winter Park was on Monday the 3rd and he died at some point after midnight the 4th

  • @200445peter Richard Manuel died on May 4, 1886 after a show at the Cheek to Cheek Lounge in Winter Park, Florida. He was Forty-Two. Rest In Peace, you'll forever be, in my opinion, one of, if not The Greatest Vocalist to emerge into this crazy world. "Spend it all".
