Dating back to 1914, the building that once housed the Ocean County Review newspaper and the Surf Building and Loan Company, one of the oldest buildings in Seaside Heights, is seen during its demolition in June 2011.

  • All buildings will leave us one day. The only buildings that I am concerned that we've lost are those at the World Trade Center. There's lots of old buildings left in SSH.

  • I'm hoping that at least one of the old buildings still remaining can be preserved, maybe for an historical museum. There's the old bank building on Webster Avenue and the Goodwin-Kramer building on the northeast corner of Sumner Ave. & the Boulevard, among others.

  • How sad. Another parking lot? :(

I think it was called "Concetta's" at one point too. I remember when it was a coffee house. It was pretty cool. They had a tarot card reader who was fairly accurate. :)

  • I hate when they demolish old buildings. It's part of history! :(
