Have Faith Chapter 5

Kate comes back with their coffee and sits down next to Emma on her other side. She saw that there was something wrong with the situation, she could just feel it.


Chapter 5:
Kate: Hey, what happened?(asks Emma) You okay?
Emma: Ya I'm fine, I just got reminded of Adam
Amy: all because of me, I told her that there were some hotties sitting over there,( points with her eyes) and it reminded her of Adam.
Emma: it's okay, I'm trying my best to forget him.
Kate: Dont worry, everything is going to be okay ( gives Emma a hug) , now drink up your coffee before it gets cold.(takes a sip of her coffee)
Emma: Ya, hey Kate, what state are we in?( takes a long drink letting the hot coffee burn though her throat)
Kate: o0o. Um were in... Louisiana( the girls had left at like 2:40 pm in the afternoon the day before so it took them about 16 hours and 20 minutes total to get to Alexandria, Louisiana) (afraid of how Emma is going to react)
Emma: o0o... um o-okay(wished she never asked that question)
Amy: um, well how about we just head out now, we have a long way to go
( finishes up her drink)
Emma: YES PLEASE!
Kate: ( chuckles at Emma's reaction) okay lets go

The girls all cleaned up there messes and started to head out.

Emma's POV: We all cleaned up and started to head out. My sister's had their heads up so I just kind of followed them. The next thing I know, I bump into someone. I look up to see Amy standing there looking up. I look up to see the person who killed my heart. Who made me believe that love doesn't exist. Adam. I noticed that he wasnt alone. He had a girl stuck to his right arm. After he saw me, he immediately let go of the girl. I believe that's the girl I saw him with when I broke up with him.

Adam lets go of the girl immediately when he sees Emma.

Adam: (shocked) Emma!
Emma: ( takes a second to recover, shows no emotion) ...Adam...
