That sounds bad ass. the song is Rebel Yell by Billy Idol. All cars should sound like that.

I threw it on the dyno on a whim one night but due to ignition and carburation problems I was unable to get a decent pull. Mid 400's at the flywheel but runs a ton better now. Desktop dyno puts it at 535, but I think thats optimistic, Realistically probably 490-510 would be my guess. I know it runs a ton better than the night I threw it on the dyno unprepared. Besides at 2600 Lbs...its a go kart on steroids...ha!

wait, so each carb is rated at 525 cfm? so total is 1050 cfm?

Correct. 1050 CFM. Keep in mind however that Edelbrock carbs (carter AFB design) are an "on demand" carb. With the secondary air door only opening until 0" of vacuum are reached. So if the engine needs 800 CFM thats all the carbs will flow as the air doors in the secondaries won't open all the way to keep good venturi signal. Great carbs for multi carb setups. Not so great for single carb high performance applications.

have you ever heard of predetor carbs? i heard those are supposed to be some of the best.

Never played with them, although a freind had a pair on a 427 back in the late eighties. it seemed to run prettyhard.
