  • Fuck ABBA! Whale is D Sheet

  • That takes me back to my college years, the first punk parties I went to, the rowdy lifestyle I discovered, but also the romance I had with my first girlfriend.

    Can somebody take me back?

  • @americannapalm Well fucking put..

  • Can't say I know a lot about Whale. I was in late highschool (or Swedish equivalent of) when they popped up. 2 out of 3 members were already TV celebs, the chick (Kia Berg) had mostly done VJ work for Swedish televison since the mid 80s, and the non-bald guy (Henric Schyffert) was/is a radio/stand-up comedian.

From what I understand, Whale was just fun spur of the moment kinda thing, a gag. Could be wrong of course.

  • @punkpasta123 Yeah, but if you recall bro, there was mainly scratching in the 80's rap and hip-hop scene. Granted, we saw the continuation of scratching through Beastie Boys, Portishead, Pharcyde, Cypress Hill, and Incubus in the 90's...but for the most part scratching had died in a lot of the rap and hip-hop scene in the 90's. :)

  • Turn the volume up to 11! :-)

  • @angelforfreedom OF COURSE THERES SCRATCHING IT WAS THE 90S BRO!!! !

  • This is AWESOME!! There's scratching too!!??!! :D

Whale fucking rocks! I wish I woulda paid more attention to them in the 90's (..but back then I was too busy fattening the pockets of Trent Reznor, Al Jourgensen & Blixa Bargeld). Glad I came across this tonight!! And that chick is FUCKING HOT!!! I totally forgot just how awesome girls can be when they are just themselves and original, unlike today's legions of female drones in either hipster-gear or hoochie-gangsta attire.

  • I first heard this song on a MTV music compilation- and it knocked me off! That song's so friggin' awesome! Bands like Whale are so rare to find nowadays...

  • I'll just say it straight up, whoever dislikes this video is a cunt.
