@weaselunit123 I sent the gun back to excel . They never repaired the gun ,I waited for almost 4 months and received nothing ,but empty promises.I was hoping it would be fixed ,but nothing happened .The gun shop gave me a refund . Since then my gun shop told me that there distributor has dropped Excel products because other people have had similar problems . Sorry for not posting a video telling how it shook out ,But I work 7 days a week .

try a kel tec pmr 30 pretty fun

@centralscrutinizer76 the power is there, but the necked down shell wont allow enuff blowback pressure to cycle any auto's.. only kel-tec has succeeded with the pmr-30..the new ones, not the 1st gen ..1st gen was recalled...lol

@centralscrutinizer76: I feel for ya, but I hope it didn't discourage you from a Browning Buck Mark. Even though some manufactures try to duplicate great pistols. We've never had a single issue. An occasional misfire, but that's usually the round.
Best of luck on your new pistol. ;-)

@specops1991 Yes I was nervous shooting the gun . The first Mag I ran through it had a bullet go off before it was chambered . I am glad it is gone .

you shouldn't have to wear a gun out to break it in, get real now! to pull a slide back a thousand times to get the gun to work & still have it fail 10% of the time. Thats 9% to often. Stainless steel can be polished to a mirror finish simply by sanding with very fine grit there is no need to coat stainless with anything other than when you use gun cleaning products. It simply looks like a poorly designed product. You shouldn't have to do gun smith mods to gun right out of the box.

take it to a gunsmith and have them polish the feed ramp. also see about getting an after market magazine for it.

@misterjonj: I agree. However, pound for pound, dollar for dollar, I think I'd be very happy with a .22 mag without buying a .17HMR. You don't gain that much but the ammo is more then twice as expensive. And, with a 40 grain bullet, that's plenty for just about anything.
Best regards
Get a .22 its better and cheaper

@MrPapapineapple I already had a Smith and wesson 22a ,and ruger Mark III. I wanted something with a little more power .I like the 17 hmr round . I have a Savage 93 that I hunt small game with it is a fun gun. It seams the 17hmr is too much for a automatic.

I think these pistols are secretly made in China! One would think they'd test these pistols before they start selling them. Their rifles aren't much better from what I've heard. And how about that clip, ejecting from the bottom! Their firearms are simply junk and we really hope you get your money back...do let us know.
All of us here on YouTube wish you well!

@1LonePuma The gun was returned for repair, at first Excel Arms seamed like they were going to repair it and send it back .Then they just quit answering calls. I waited 3 months on them .The gun dealer gave me my money back and I got a different gun .
