"Dark Clouds in a Perfect Sky" became ELIS' sophmore release perfectly documenting the band's musical development and growth, and emerging as an energy-laden, sophistacated work. The videoclip for the album's opener "Der letzte Tag", featuring the late Sabine Dünser, speaks for itself.

I can't believe their drummer. He's playing inverted, that is the first time I have ever seen anyone do that outside of a marching band.

To those who gave me a thumbs down, I want to point out that I misspelled 'sucks' in my first comment and that I was in no way referring to Sabine/Elis/this song. I am actually now in posession of all three Elis albums, following the current lineup via myspace, and am eagerly awaiting Catharsis. If there is anything that sucks it's that I never got to meet the band in person, couldn't thank Sabine for helping me change my life and that I cannot find any Elis tabs anywhere.

I discovered this band a little bit ago, and I think they're all brilliant! It suck Sabine died so soon. I mean, she was just getting her career going on a meteoric rise, and she was so talented, too. No doubt she is singing with God's Angels now.
