I'm scared that soon they'll take all these great music clips off youtube. They want us to pay for everything. It's already happening. Fuck it's the only reason i go to youtube. Who cares about man getting hit in the balls by football...without the music youtube is nothing.

@Royic For the most part mainstream music has always been weak. Look at Disco,New Wave, Hair Metal. And even the 60's/early 70's were heavy with bubble gum pop. It's not like Thin Lizzy were ever huge ( in the US at least). By over-glorifying the past we make it impossible to create new good music.

Guys, please. This is great music, that's a given fact. But don't get caught in meaningless nostalgia. There is still good music being made today, and it's not by refusing to even try to find it that you support it.
Sure, listen to Lizzy, Zep, Sabb, Purple. But remember that today's music is not just bieber or rap or gaga. Don't be hypocrites- liking good music doesn't make us part of some elitist snob group - explore, discover - it makes it even more enjoyable
