  • without religion, any society will become uncivilized.

Islam has shown in the past the mairage of civilization in the presence of our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H)......

no judgement...jus an observation.no offense.but u perhaps don know a Sufi needs to comply 100% with Sharia duties with ABSOLUTELY NO DESIRE of this material world and what it offers.all the things u mentioned above come after when a Sufi is Sharia compliant and free from worldly desires...n the above characteristics are the blessings bestowed for the effort to obey Allah in both body and soul. sufi's donot care abt what modern world offers or what it doesnt.thats my point.

  • @adnan86pk and please can u just talk with manners it will look better on yourself and work better with whoever your commenting to,...

  • @adnan86pk sorry, but who the hell are you to make that judgement when you don't even know me!? I know about the essential universal values of Sufism as expressed in the writings of Baba Bulleh Shah, Rumi, Amir Khusro etc. and they are simple and common sense; compassion, open mindedness, seeking of the absolute truth and intimate knowlege, experience and communion with Allah. So I dunno what drives you to make such a nasty comment against me when i didn't attack anyone!?

  • @BhattisexyJanan

u don know a damn abt bein a sufi

  • @BhattisexyJanan: I absolutely second that. There's a strong case that this issue along with many other was tampered with to defame Islam & was manipulated. This slander was invented to attack the zaat-e-aqdas of Nabi Akram (S.A.W.) Hisham bin Urwah is the narrator for this Hadith and no other Sahabi (R.A.) had quoted it ever other than him. Hisham was also known for his poor memory. It is said that instead of 9 Hz. Aisha's (R.A.) age was between 16-18 at the time of mariage with Nabi (S.A.W.) -

  • I've seen the "child rapist" accusation so many times before, there is no concrete evidence to suggest it; he got engaged to Aisha around 8 or so and married when 12, consummated at 13 or 14 according to the reports; it was an age customary in his society and is the context within which he need to live, so it's no rape case, it was the customs for marriage at the time. so you atheist hypocrites shud just shut your trap. I respect atheists who actually talk rationally and respect others not liars

  • @shauryaification go fuck yourself you "atheist fundamentalist"! There is little difference between you and all the religious fanatics you condemn. I'm a practical, rational Sufi Muslim and I criticize elements of official Islam that are wrong and oppressive even if they're directly derived from the Qur'an but I have no tolerance for fuckers who bring out such disgusting slander about people, especially respected figures eg. saying child rapist when you don't give any evidence!

  • @sumairDJ civilized doesn't neccessarily mean "better" or more righteous. While I'm a Sufi Muslim I acknowledge the importance of living in harmony with nature and with all the beings in our world and universe. If we understand the universal principles of Islam it does not instruct people to "be civilized"; while there are great, beautiful things in civilization eg. modern facilities, entertainment, "primitive" tribal and hunter gatherer societies lived and some today still live in more harmony.
