Colin for Prime Minister!

I miss the old days of actually seeing the continuity announcers :(
I remember ITV Night Time as a kid, the voiceover introducing it used to freak me out.

what times was invision on like was invision on before every program or not?

you know the good old days when presenters were fun and interacted with the viewing public a lot more, you just get nothing like that these days sadly no where near as good as it used to be :(
-
anyone got any footage of that bloke with a beard from the late 80s - early 90s? i remember him doing the continuity announcing and the disembodied voice over the logo saying 'This... is Granada.'
-

I liked seeing the anouncers ITV was probably the only station that did this well in britain at least back then it was great Beverly Calard Andrew Britain Colin Western (scene in this clip) Pamala Dodd (babe) of Granada TV if there's any I mist out? or you of any ITV anouncer in your regian?

I have that and many more in my compilation of all the ones I found.
does anyone notice in the raindrops powergen ident, that when the face of the powergen logo appears on screen, it looks as if there is nothing there, and then suddenly the raindrops fall onto the screen, that could shock some.
i wonder how deep that water is when it appears, looks very deep.

You only have to wait another 80 years and they'll be back again.
-
"NIGHT TIME" In a deep, gravelly voice. Yeah, I remember that
-
Agreed.
Interesting to note how ITV made much out of the World Cup Sevens back then.
The Motor Show - I remember that well. Wasn't that presented by Becky Want for a bit?

I know what you mean about the Rugby, taking CITV off for Sport wasn't that common in those days!
About The Motor Show, I think BW did present it, but this edition has Nicki Fox (I think she presented TV-am Weather for a bit) and Eammon O'Neal presenting.
