Hey Shi Ne,

Question for you: The Bruins have shown that they are a bit more vulnerable to close games than before, and their play has sort of brought them back down into the fray as a result. Given the fact that we acknowledged how close the 4-8 spots are, do you think any one of those teams ideally could upset the Bruins in the first round?

Same with the Devils, too.

Sorry for the long delay, was out of town and away from the game, just got back last night.

As for Boston, they're not experienced in the playoffs, so they could be vulnerable to a Piitsburgh or Carolina. And New Jersey could have trouble with New York or Pittsburgh. I wouldn't be totally shocked if one of them were upset in the 1st round.

One thing I feel very certain about is Montreal missing the post season. Been feeling that way for about a month now. But if they do end up in the 8th spot, they'll get bounced quickly.

No probs Shi Ne. NHL hockey is hard to predict. nowadays.

It looks like to me that 1 through 4 in the East is locked up, but 5-8 will be decided very, VERY late in the season. I'm praying that we will face Philadelphia rather than the Caps (one can recall how many times we've gone through the Capitol in the playoffs, but intrastate rivalries are cool functions in my neck of the woods).

I also partially agree on the Montreal team (this was the #1 seed in the East last year?) We will see...
