How did you get the network interface to work with vmware? I bought a usb adapter that can use packet injection but I don't know how to get fusion to use it. It just wants to use my mac's wifi.

no, your card just isnt showing any AP;s
1. make sure your are in in monitor mode. (iwconfig ;cardname; mode monitor; ie iwconfig wlan1 mode monitor) or airmon-ng start wlan1
3 Backtrack supports all REALTEK chipsets (so go for that one) mine is REALTEK ARG U25g 500mw !

hello there: when I run the airmon-ng, no networks pop up. Is this because I need to have an external network card other than the built-in one in my macbook?
