@jns4chat To the left of the kanji input box, it says
漢字(kanji) かな(hiragana) カナ(katakana) 英字(english) 数字(numbers). You need to highlight 漢字.

help! for some reason i can't input kanji on my "kanji sonomama rakubiki jiten" software, only kana and english. does anyone else have the same problem? and how should i remedy this? thanks in advance!!!
PS. my version does not say meikei(?) on the top screen like yours did on 0:13. does it make a difference?

This game is actually a no region game, so you can buy it as is and use it. If you can't read the kanji characters on the menu I'm sure you'll get use to it and figure out what all the menu options are.
