The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino is proud to announce the signing of singer/impressionist/entertainer Gordie Brown to a multi-year contract to headline at the legendary property.

Brown, who is currently touring North America with Celine Dion, will begin performances in February 2009, in the propertys Showroom, which will be renamed in his honor, The Gordie Brown Showroom.

Starting in February, Brown will perform five nights a week with a four-piece band. He is well known for his amazing comedy and vast repertoire of celebrity impressions such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson and Sylvester Stallone, as well as Las Vegas icons like Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis, Jr. Brown has consistently received rave reviews by both critics and audiences alike, and has been recognized as Entertainer of the Year and Best Show.

The Golden Nuggets Showroom, which completed a major expansion and renovation in October 2006, is an intimate, 600-seat theater on the third level of the hotels Spa Tower. It features plush seats and an advanced, state-of-the-art digital audio and visual system.

The history of the Golden Nuggets showroom sets it apart from other venues of its size. Outstanding headliners of all genres such as Frank Sinatra, Kenny Rogers, Paul Anka, Tony Bennett, Don Rickles, Randy Travis and Regis Philbin have played the showroom, which continues bringing in a variety of acts and headline entertainment appealing to all tastes.

  • I saw Gordie Brown in August 2006 at the Venetian and recently at the Golden Nugget. I also saw Danny Gans at the Mirage before he passed away and I tell you now Gordie brown is the best by far

  • I went to school with Gordie. And I remember him always being Multi talented. He was doing Bye Bye Birdie, And his best performance was West side story. At Lake of Two Mountains High school. We are all so proud of you Gordie.
