I'm so tired of people writing me hate mail over this video. So much judgment and ignorance, and not enough intelligence or compassion for the real and true issue at hand: the care of these animals by loving people. I charged money for these kittens to ensure that they would go to loving and responsible homes. You may argue all you like about the breed and its ligitimacy; its ridiculous as simple internet research proves much arguement redundant. I didn't have to take these cats on who were dumped in my doorstep in an old beat up broken box, but I did. Many of you speak of shelters etc., but it was myself who sheltered these animals and took care of them at my own expense. I have taken in more animals than can be counted and don't deserve this tongue lashing going on. We have one cat left from this entire experience and she is doing great. She has another stray we took in as a playmate. They both beat up the dog constantly! So please just enjoy the video and appreciate these animals and all the love they give to us without the "ego" issues of humans attached. Just go and give your cat a big hug and say thankyou to him/her for being in your life. Is that so hard?

This video did help me find homes for the kittens. Even after they were long gone, I still continued to receive requests at Christmas time. Parents love to give their young children a kitten, which is a great present in my opinion for so many reasons. There has been much ado about what I charged for the kittens. At the time, we lived in a bad neighbourhood and many wanted the cats for sick reasons. I wanted these kittens to go to a better area where they would be treasured. And so they are.

No, my name is not Caffee or whatever! No, Calico's are not always females! All of my litters had 2 male &2 female each time. The males are significantly weaker as someone commented, & all of my males died except for one. Seems they are very vunerable to cystalitis as soon as solid food is introduced. For those who were upset or being mean, no problem. We're all human. Don't worry about it! I can't explain how to tell the sex of a kitten, especially so young. Take your kitty to a vet okay!

@SpiderHorseMother You're kittens looked like Tabby's not Calico's. Male Calico's are rare roughly 1 in 3000, they usually aren't weak, just sterile, and I highly doubt that if male's are 1 in 3000 you got two male calico's every time....

and I just read the comment about how you wanted them to go to a good home so now I guess I can understand your price on them. That's why most shelters charge too is to make sure they will be going to a decent home. And Kittens are a great present for a child that is ready to care for an animal

I think it is a great thing that you took them in... but $200.00 was a hefty price especially when some shelters sell kittens eight weeks old only for 80 to 100 and they have their first shots as well as their first vet visit free and they come spayed or neutered (not sure if your kitties were a specific breed) I'm not trying to bash or hate and its absolutely terrible what happened to their parents, and calico is a coloration not a breed, hence why you see long haired and short hair varations

Ok, a little lesson about cats. Calico is a COLORATION.. it is NOT a breed of cat. If the mother is Calico and has pure black babies, they AREN"T called "Black Calicos".(No such thing anyways). the kittens in this video are definately NOT calico coloration. I honestly cant even believe you charged $200 for one kitten..I would of went to the shelter and adopted one for that price with all its shots and it being fixed. Those kittens are a dime a dozen
