Dandan Landfill Project Moves Forward; GEDA requests RFI for Financing Options

Guam-The initial work to construct the Dandan landfill is quickly moving forward. While island leaders are still tossing up ideas on how to finace the entire project, the federal receiver announced today it has three potential candidates that are interested in starting work on Cells 1 & 2.

GEDA Administrator Tony Blaz adds the Request for Interest (RFI) will end on January 30 at 12 pm. Just a few days after that deadline, GovGuam must submit its alternative financing options to the court by February 2 at 12 pm.
