Gordon and the Whale.com interviews Drew Barrymore for WHIP IT

Allow me to get personal here for a second and reach way back into the vault of my life. Drew Barrymore was my first crushever. Alicia Silverstone second, Sarah Michelle Gellar third, but Drew Barrymore was the definite first. I was 7 years old when I first realized this, the same age that Drew was at the time that E.T. was released. And it was this film, dropped into my young life like Reeses Pieces into a palm, that brought me to this realization.

Fast forward 18 years later as life comes full circle. The result is the following interview with Miss Barrymore on the red carpet for the Dallas premiere of her directorial debut WHIP IT.
