Oil leak

@steaknkibble I have not gotten it fixed. The center differential is messed up and cant afford to fix it, so Im gonna limp thru winter and then get rid of it around tax time :(

its come from the right side of the engine down and make alot of white smoke and smell burning oil and also from down i saw alot of drop oil on the street and always check oil level and add

I have a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback, and my engine looks the same as your's. Mine was leaking oil badly as well, and it got to the point where I had to add a quart of oil every 150 miles! I took it to the dealer a year ago, and I had to have a complete engine reseal, as well as a power steering reseal. I also had to have my radiator hoses replaced because oil dripped on them and caused them to swell. Unfortunately, I think this is common on Subaru's from the late 90s.

i have oil leak come from every where under engine its also subaru impreza 1.6 1997

and i go to mechenci and he told me we have to pull engine out to change all the oil seals

but i dont like to pull the motor out so i am waiting till the oil stop leaking )

Best thing to do would be to clean everything with degreaser and see if you can spot where it's coming from.
