usually wat hapnes with the chinese is that before a very big event e.g. olympics, they would get their top player to get to the final so its an all chinese final, the one with the lower amount of rankin points between the 2 would win the game since they wante as many of their players to enter the tournament, increasin the chinese chances of wining a gold by a long way, some 1 like england who only hav 1 team per event wont hav much of a chance wen china have 4 in each event

yeh that's kinda obvious....it was it china's best interest that Chen qualified for the Olympics so they persuaded Lin Dan to let Chen Jin win so he could have enough points to qualify for the 2008 Summer Bejing Olympics!
