The reason that I asked,is because i just got a puppy bulldog and every time my 2 year old son gets near her she bites him. He is terrified of her now. And I don't know how to stop her from biting him. Do have any suggestions?

@nbcorde Ah well, yes i must admit, they are a handful as puppy's. you have to understand a bulldog before you judge one they are very different to your average hound,they can be miss-red.The 1st thing you need to do is get a good bulldog book,to help all the family understand your new arrival.The biting is a puppy thing all breeds will do this they need to chew play bite and so on. It is for you as pack leader to teacher what is expected. the bulldog WILL challenge you but you must be firm

@nbcorde But for your lil boy, this was not the dog showing aggression more play fighting bring them together and correct puppy when she attempts to bit(you have to be very firm) and reassure and protect (shield)your son from pups heavy play.its very important to stop play biting asap but it does take time and patience .Bulldog owner try and teach a soft bite to bullys because of there power. A good book will really help, oh and i swear by the gr8 Ceaser Millan

@nbcorde absolutely not,she wouldn't know how to be vicious. In fact i don't think i have ever heard of a vicious bulldog anywhere.
