Επειδή και καλά μπόρεσε να λύσει τον γρίφο της ζωής ("κύβος"), ανακάλυψε κάτι που δεν να ήθελε να ισχύει (π.χ.: δεν έχει τίποτα νόημα) κι έτσι αυτοκτόνησε.
