This is absolutely awesome.

One question, however. I've only played the video games, and I couldn't help but notice the lack of monsters in your video - wasn't Geralt a professional monster slayer?

@AndyRaslan The Show was low budget and most of the people seem to hate the series. There wasnt lot of monsters( and those who was - well those were pretty cheap props or so). But special effects is not the thing that draw me to watch the entire series - It was the fact that there is Geralt.

Show is mostly based on human relationships. And humans prove to be the greatest monsters.

@RyderX2007 And you are right, humans are the worst of monsters, but it doesn't really make sense to show Geralt killing loads of humans, considering the traditional role of Witchers.

What I did love about the show, however, is the psychological element. It emphasizes the importance of intelligence and, why not, emotions and shows the depths of the human heart, even if Witchers' hearts aren't exactly human anymore. In many ways, despite the terrible effects, it's more mature than the games.

@AndyRaslan I See Your Point. Witchers Only deal in Monster Slaying, However Geralt Is No ordinary Witcher. He Always Gets Him Self In All Sorts Of Human-releated Intrigues. Story Of His Life.

I Can Warmly Recommend You The Books. I Can Not Start To Describe The Sublimity Of A Masterpiece, that The Witcher Books Are, created by Polish Author Andriej Sapkowski). That Right There Is The Real Deal. Series and Even Games Doesnt Even Belong In Same Level With The Witcher Saga. VA FAIL!

@gawain259 Books you can buy on ebay...The ones in english available are called The Last Wish and Blood Of Elves( by Andrej Sapkowski)

But The TV Show I downloaded on thepiratebayDOTCOM...just check for ''Wiedzmin aka The Witcher'' ( It is like 13 episodes long)...you also can find it on ebay,.. books will definetly be worth the money

@AndyRaslan We should also mention that the differences between TV series and book are significant. Unfortunately, with a great harm to the show. The history of childhood and youth of Geralt is invented by the writer and not it's good. Geralt was not a child-surprise. Was abandoned by his mother in Kaer Morhen. Etc., etc. for the whole series ...

Interesting fact: Geralt in the books is about 95 years old. ;)

@Torejansson Game? Books man! Books! I love the games, but let's be honest - the saga written by Andrzej Sapkowski eats them for breakfast. If you do not read books, then you missed best history in the world of fantasy.

I love the costumes of the characters..but the acting is too bad even for my taste and I can go low ._. and it's not english and I dislike listening to foreign languages ;(

Hope they make a high-budget english version.
