there's another high quality video of this on youtube, i just fixed the aspect ratio on it, both to see if i could actually do it and so it wasn't annoying to look at. i don't claim any copyright.

from some of the other uploaded videos of this performance, i'm not sure this is the original audio track. it does seem to be a live recording (it differs from the studio track), and the drum fill at the end seems to match the video...maybe some of the other youtube videos of this have the wrong audio? i don't know...but this sounds good, seems to match up well with the video, and now it looks right, too.

  • I Bought the first EP on vinyl, when it came out. The EP had Mental Hopscotch, Destination Unknown, Words, and Boys. I played it until I wore it out.

  • all of these guys played with Zappa

  • He played with Frank Zappa.

  • NEEDS MORE BOZZIO

  • Freakin' Awesome! Lovin it!

  • one of my fav. bands

  • 0:05 the singer has the very first prototype blue tooth ear piece. Wow have they gotten smaller since then.

  • The audio mix here is incredibly clean for a stage show in '83 (we were still battling with micro-second-apart cancellations from multiple mics then). The only ways I know of to get it this way would be to 1) single-channel all the inputs to a multi-track tape, and then play with them after the fact as per "Frampton Comes Alive," or 2) use a combination of digital-era filters to knock out everything but the input above a certain level. I think it's the latter here, as this is very "digital."

  • Not only was she ahead of Gaga, but she also appears to have a Blu-tooth ear piece 25 years ahead of time.

    Great song!
