The key is to get to know people and trust them to be who they are. Instead, we trust people to be who we want them to be- and when they're not, we cry/get revenge/etc

It is possible for me to forgive people, but it is impossible to regain even remotely the same amount of trust i once had. After all, i never come close to those people again. We can be in good relations, but restoring the previous one is something i wont do. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, I'm a fucking moron... Or something like that...

It's pretty funny thing that the last question of whether they are going to pay, they being people who fucked you over that is, actually could be a 'yes'. Seeing how they fucked you over, there's a chance that they will continue to fuck others as well (that or they grow up which dispels this argument). But going with this scenario, naturally, they'll pay. But, not by your hand, but by their own undoing. It's uh... what goes around comes around thing I suppose.

maybe some people know that honesty integrity and forgiveness are the key, but (because of the capitalist society we live in,where greed selfishness and violence appear to be the norm,even celebrated at times)choose to go with the 'nice guys finish last/are losers' 'everyone else is being an arsehole,so i will be too' excuse?
seems like too many of us fall victim to the selfish materialistic values being forced upon society.
