FM Theatre Power, a Hong Kong local independent troupe, organized "Frozen Times . Square Reborn" in HK's landmark--Time Square on 20-3-2008.

Over a hundred people "frozen" in this busiest spot to feel the fresh air of Hong Kong Public Space .

This inspired HK Legislators and Councillors to join our action. FMTP organized "Councillors Version" of Frozen Times.Square Reborn on 11-4-2008 and aroused public's interaction with these official leaders through arts.

Here we just learn from rules
Educate our child to be rich
Since
The Rich possesses art
The Rich possesses athletes
The Rich possesses public space
The Rich could be the Olympic Torch Carrier
So everyone's eyes are just open for money
Every day we could only go forward
Every day we have to be hurried
This is not to become athletes
This is not to do performance art
This is to achieve one's dream faster
Being athlete is not the dream
Buying the athlete is the deal
Changing the stadium into battlefields
What is sport?
What is the Olympic Games?
Sport is unequal to Olympic Games
Sport is not diplomacy
Sport is a linkage among people
So we are echoing the Global Freeze Movement
Let's stop and think

When we linked up through sports,

百多名香港人希望大家可以在繁忙爆的香港，停下來感應一下香港的公共空間。

為何名為「凍結時代。廣場復活」？
那麼便先想想這個「時代」有什麼需要凍結？
「廣場」這公共空間復活，又代表是怎樣的一個好「時代」？
就讓我們把這樣的一個「時代」凍結，以迎接好「時代」的來臨!

奧運是什麼？
這裏的教育就是教大家守規舉
教育下一代要做個有錢人，不會做運動員、藝術家
因為
有錢可以擁有藝術
有錢可以擁有運動員
有錢可以擁有公共空間
有錢可以擔當聖火火炬手
所以這裏每個人都只向錢看
每天我們只可以不斷的向前跑
每天我們只可以不斷的追追趕趕
這樣做不是為了成為運動員
這樣做不是為了進行行為藝術
這樣做是為了快人一步，理想達到
理想不會是成為運動員
而是可以有錢買起運動員
可以把運動場化作戰場
運動是什麼？
奧運是什麼？
運動不等於奧運
運動不是外交
運動是把人連起來
所以我們正在響應全球靜止運動
大家也停一停 ，諗一諗，

響應Improv Everywhere Global -- Causing Scenes Worldwild及及邀請社會不同人仕共同響應全球靜止運動
