Which patch are you using? Your policies and choices etc are all different from mine, and I thought Steam automatically updates to the latest patches.

@cosmicalian Im a CIV4 Fan and I was so happy to tried CIV5 lately and .. OMG ... it suck compare to CIV4 its a downgrade completely !!
they should go back to the drawing bord with Civ 4 in mind not Civ revolution
and I got Civ on my DS too and yes CIV 5 is similar but at least on my DS its still fun to play .
my copy of CIV5 is going in the garbage

Is it me or does this game look alot worse than civ 4? I mean look at the mini map in civ 4 it showed everything but now it looks like something on a nintendo ds!

It's just personal preference. IMO they went too far on the graphics anyway, so I'm not going to be critical of them!

Maybe on deity. Maybe ;). I'm a lot better than in game one, like miles difference because I understand tradeoffs better now, so I started this game confident and remained confident after the failed cheese nonsense.

Nice to see your Civ games back :)
Cheesing the early rushes is a lot harder on Civ 5 then Civ 4...unless you get lucky and pick up a rifleman at 2000 B.C like I did :P Quick question, what are you using to record your videos now? Lot better quality then previous vids.

...cam studio, with divx's highest quality profile + 12000 bitrate single pass (my computer can handle multipass but it does not work with cam studio). I increased the bitrate a LOT and it still handles it, so there it stayed because it actually looks pretty good. Without needing to "hook" the app, processing cycles won't screw up the recording, a big plus for both this and other games.
