Iris tries to throw Sally out, but Felicia insists that Sally stay. Frankie and Cass exchange a look from across the room, and after Spencer gives Sally a glass of champagne, Cass resumes and then concludes his toast to Lucas. At the end of Cass's toast, a Dixieland jazz rendition of "When the Saints Go Marching In" starts to play over the sound system at TOPS. Donna asks Cass if Lucas arranged it, or if it was Cass's idea. Cass says it was neither he nor Lucas, and asks Felicia. Felicia doesn't know where the music is coming from either, but says maybe it's Luke's afterthought, and everyone stands and listens to the music in silence, thinking of Lucas.
At D&M, Kevin gets up in Lorna's face and dares her to admit her loss and pain. She resists at first, fearful that once she starts grieving she won't be able to stop, but with Kevin's encouragement, the dam finally bursts, and Lorna breaks down and cries over her father's death. Kevin congratulates Lorna on not running away from her emotions anymore, and Lorna asks Kevin to stay with her.
Back at TOPS, Sally surprises Felicia by revealing that Luke kept a picture of Felicia in his wallet even when he and Felicia were apart all those years. She assures Felicia that Felicia always came first with Luke no matter what. When Felicia says that Sally must have hated her, Sally says it wasn't Felicia's fault because Sally always knew that Felicia would be number one in Luke's heart, so Sally settled because it was worth it to her. Felicia says she could regret the time she and Luke were apart, or be grateful for the time they did have. Sally tells Felicia that Felicia had the best of Luke. Felicia says yes, she did. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
When I met Linda Dano, I had the pleasure to be able to tell he rhow stellar, and touching, she was in the kitchen scene in this episode (at 5:12). Linda was gracious and wonderful and took the time to discuss the scene with me. AW was truly a great series with great actors and indelible characters, Linda/Felicia of course among them.
