Broke Bass Mountain

It's no secret that Keith of 137 beats his bass regularly (cue the Beavis & Butthead laughter). But when 137 played for Mistress Julyia in Buffalo, NY the long-lived bass went out in a blaze of glory. Thank you to those who stuck around for the whole show. And to those who leave early, this is the kind of shit you miss out on! Here's the aftermath....

....The strange thing is people ate up that part of the show. We sold a good amount of merch, people came up to us and said we gained some new lifelong fans, and Mistress Julyia came up grinning and asked for a CD and some 137 panties. I consider that the ultimate compliment! So the neck didn't die in vain, lol!

Rev could probably give you a better account than I could. Let's just say I got carried away, lost in the moment, etc. It was all in good fun though. Guess you had to be there. I usually end the set beating it up a bit. She usually takes it, but finally reached the limit. I have two. So I'll use her twin until I replace the neck....
