From what I gathered through the years was that one of the "bosses" of GLOW had a thing for her but Americana did not feel the same way and having his "love" rejected he simply ordered one of the other wrestlers to injure her for real. She lost te crown and decided she should play it safe and move one before anything else happen to her.
