A common cause of illness is so simple, it's often ignored by conventional doctors. This week on UltraWellness TV, Mark Hyman, M.D. explains how your diet, habits, lifestyle, and other environmental influences can lead to poor health -- and shows you how to harness these factors to achieve UltraWellness. For a more detailed look at this subject, see the full text at http://www.ultrawellness.com/blog.

  • Dr Hyman,

I've been following the real food diet for 8 weeks and feel great. Not only have I lost weight but my diabetes is completely under control for the first time in about 10 years. So many other good things happening, too many to post. Just very thankful that I've been able to find you through our local fitness centre who promoted the diet and lifestyle

  • The Human Genome project and organizations such has HUPO, in finding the human Proteome are well on the right track in finding causes for a vast range of diseases

  • Most ppl are aware that a good lifestyle will improve their health, the problem is CHANGE. People lack motivation or simply cant cope with busy lifestyles... and sad to say, its not usually until they become prone with disease or are actually infected do people succumb to the reality and whats really important.

  • Hi Dr. Hyman.

    Great book.

  • This plan has nothing to do with homeopathics whatsoever. Before you call someting BS, find out what it is about.

  • I like the prestentation Very good Thank you

  • Interesting to consider that there are at least 20 other countries with HIGHER life expectancies than the US. A more relevant reason that the "average life" as increased has little to do with living longer, it has to do with the decline in infant mortality. With fewer children dying at 2 months old the AVERAGE age at death increase rapidly. Just some ideas to consider-

    Be well,

    ken

  • Everything you say is true and common sense. You only have to look at some other countries to see the difference in helath. The food they eat and the culture etc. is the main thing.

  • Thank you Dr. Mark for offering thinking people long overdue HONESTY about disease- Kudos to you-

    Ken

  • I like this format allot
