Well we all know Aussies can always put on a crackin party!!! We're the partiers of the globe....no wonder we had such a great opening ceremony....To be expected of the party animals of the globe lol

I don't care what anyone says, this is undoubtedly the best performance by any artist at any Olympic Games Ceremony, perfect song for the occasion, the staging of it was utterly superb, that bit where the camera looks down from the northern end of the stadium just cannot be matched, a song about Australia, sung by a true Australian, she definitely showed the world we are the best...

yeh i kinda thought that too...with the whole globe thingy....im not being bias cos i live in sydney but i reckon Sydney set the foundations for the rest of the modern olympics...i dunno, just a thought...
