I met Buck at the Negro Leagues Museum in 2005. I asked if he would mind having his photo taken with me and he said, "Let's do it! Get that camera out!" He was a great man representing the greatest game.

I will never forget the day I met Mr O'Neil in 2006 just months before he passed. He was at the Omni having lunch across from Petco Stadium having lunch with Jackie Robinson's daughter. He greeted me with a hug like he'd known me for years, and said "
